PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Conversion of a traditional style dormitory built in 1914 to a modern arrangement with 83 suites

  • Project focused on energy efficiency and achieved LEED Silver Certification

  • Mechanical system is 4-pipe fan coil units with decoupled ventilation system.  Chilled water and steam are utilized from the campus central plant

  • The use of LED light fixtures and low-flow plumbing fixtures also contributed to the low energy consumption of the remodeled facility
