  • Converted an office building to house the college’s nursing program and simulation labs, “smart” classrooms, and administrative groups

  • Utilized the building’s original foundation, structural members and exterior brick walls

  • 35% of building materials were recycled

  • 22% of new materials were harvested and fabricated regionally 

  • 8% of wood used was Forest Stewardship Council certified

  • Modeled energy costs at 22% less than code minimums and diverted 92% of construction debris from landfills

  • Installed a variable refrigerant flow (VRF) HVAC system
