PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Designed a plant upgrade to provide the university with additional cooling capacity, with increased overall efficiency and ease of maintenance

  • Utilized a new 650-ton magnetic bearing water cooled chiller

  • Consolidated two existing smaller cooling towers into one 1100-ton cooling tower

  • Modified piping to improve system redundancy

  • Designed a completely new chiller controls system
